Our first featured wagon belongs to a friend of mine. I’ve known Ivan for many years from the VW community that I was once heavily involved in. Throughout the time that I’ve known him, he went on to own multiple project cars: an MK2 Golf, a Toyota 4-Runner, a MK4 Jetta Wagon, and his latest wagon project that we are covering here.

The MK6 Jetta Sportwagen was available from 2010 -2015. In the stock form, it was already a sleek looking wagon in the eyes of most people. However, Ivan is not like most people, and he felt the need to take his wagon up a notch. Clean cruiser has always been the theme for all of Ivan’s past project cars, and this wagon is no different. One aspect that shines from Ivan’s wagon is the exterior modifications: a GTI front bumper was added to go along with the Votex sideskirts, and Votex rear valence. Air suspension was chosen for its benefit of being able to raise or lower the ride height with a touch of a button. Lastly, Ivan decided to go distinctly unique with a set of 18” Label Gruppe Lufter wheels.

We cruised around town before finding an empty lot that’s perfect for snapping some photos of his cool wagon. We also got a chance to catch up and chat a little about this wagon project.

Let’s get straight into it!
