This week’s blog entry features the third Singaporean wagon that I had the pleasure of shooting while I was in Singapore. As stated in the previous Shooting Brake blog entry, I’ve always been a fan of this design-offering from Mercedes Benz. Seeing them in person really got me excited! While the previously featured Shooting Brake build concentrated around sleekness and comfort, Kalam’s CLA Shooting Brake; that we are about to see here, focuses more on stance. Being a daily driver and driven frequently to Johor Baru, Malaysia; many of his peers think that it is madness to have a daily driver this LOW in Southeast Asia.
Kalam’s wagon started its life in white color. Wanting to stand out from the crowd, he later decided to give his car a complete makeover. AMG line front and rear bumpers were acquired to complete the exterior styling. A new color was also picked during this makeover stage. Carbon fiber parts (front lower grill, side-skirts add-ons and rear midwing) accentuate the AMG line exterior styling of Kalam’s wagon. A new exhaust with quad tips was also added. The hyperchrome finish on the Konig Countergram wheels really compliment the car. And not to forget about those red Brembo calipers tucked behind the wheel on each corner. I really like how the modifications on Kalam’s wagon flows with the Shooting Brake styling.
Content with car, Kalam plans on attending more car shows this year and possibly taking home more trophies. Best of luck!
