This week’s blog entry brings us back to the platform that we’ve featured a few times previously and many of you might have seen this specific unique colored Audi Avant all around the internet. That’s right, it’s a B9 Allroad owned by Isaac or better known as “quacttro” on social media. Both owner and his wagon are actively involved in the Audi group and car scene within the Los Angeles area.

Audi has perfected their Allroad recipe over the years and the current B9 Allroad is looking better than ever! Knowing that he was working with a blank canvas with high potential, Isaac wasted no time and went straight to work upon taking delivery. Isaac himself is quite familiar with the Audi brand as he previously owned a B8 RS5 Coupe and a 8J TT-RS (both were modded). Tastefully modified is the name of the game. First, he got the Avant wrapped in Steel Blue (a color that mimics Porsche’s Meizen Blue PTS color). Next, the Avant was lowered and the HRE Flowform FF21 wheels made their way from Isaac’s RS5 to the Allroad. The result is what you see here… PERFECTION!

Introduce Yourself:

My name is Isaac. I live in California, USA. I work in tech and design.

WHY A WAGON?

Share your unique story behind your WAGON ownership

I’ve always loved wagons as a kid. Growing up in Asia it was common to see wagons like the Subaru

Legacy, Nissan Stagea, Volvo v70, and various Audi Avants. I like the sleek bodylines and low stance,

combined with a practical package all in one vehicle.

With my A4 Allroad, I happened to find one at a dealership that they were struggling to sell. It had been

sitting on the showroom floor for almost an entire year and they were doing discounts off msrp. I’d

always wanted a wagon and it felt like the right opportunity to finally get myself into an Audi Avant.

Did you consider a different WAGON instead of this one?

I also considered the Volvo V60. It’s also a wagon with a very timeless design with modern amenities

that I enjoy. I ultimately chose the A4 Allroad though because of the price and also I am a VW/Audi fan

at heart.

What was your original objective with your car and has that objective changed?

My original objective hasn’t changed. It is my practical, daily driver with personal touches.

What style would you say best describes your car?

I’d say OEM+

Who assisted in the planning/building/modding of your car?

My go to shop is Kormodiv in Riverside, CA.

What do you feel makes your car unique / special in your eyes?

As far as I know it’s the only muted blue wrapped Allroad near me, and in general we don’t see many

wagons out on the road, especially in the U.S., so that in itself makes it pretty unique.

What is your favorite part/feature/function of the car?

The large amount of storage I have while keeping car-like handling. I also love my ventilated seats.

If you could pick one thing you aren’t satisfied with about your car, what would it be?

Maybe its off-roadability, but that’s mostly because I have it spec-ed as a road car with lowered

suspension. Maybe in the future I’ll consider changing the direction of the car and going lifted focus, but

so far I’m pretty satisfied with how it currently is.

What has been the biggest obstacle you’ve faced while building this car?

It honestly hasn’t been too difficult, but probably wrapping the car was a bit challenging due to the film I

wanted to use and the amount of cladding we had to navigate around. I love how the color turned out in

the end though.

What one word best describes your car?

Clean

What is your final goal with this car?

It is my daily, but the rest is unknown for now… I’m still getting to know this car since I’ve only had a

year with it. I’ll see what inspires me over the years and let that dictate my direction with it.
