There is no denial that I am a big fan of the Allroad offering from Audi. In fact, Audi Allroad is the one wagon model that has been featured the most on Avantturous thus far. Its sleek design and gorgeous side profile view are the two things that keep me drawn to this Audi model. And I will be constantly on the lookout for a clean example to be featured here on our beloved blog. Trevor; the owner of this white Allroad, is more than happy to share the story of his wagon ownership.
Trevor is no stranger to the European car scene as he’s owned multiple VW platforms in the past (including the good ol’ MK4 platform); although he admitted that this Allroad was his first rodeo in the wagon realm. Before purchasing the wagon, Trevor already had a clear picture on how he wanted his Avant to look. He is also a big fan of the side profile view of the Allroad; which inspired him to get his wagon bagged in order to make the already sleek profile even sleeker! Airlift was trusted to provide the necessary hardware to achieve his perfect stance. Being Trevor’s daily driver, he mainly wanted his wagon to look good on his daily commute and of course… being reliable. A set of Rotiform OZ-R wheels were sourced to complete its interior looks. As a cherry on top, Audi roof box was added alongside the low mounted Thule bars.
While Trevor is content on how good his Allroad looks currently, he is not 100% happy with the lack of power under the hood. Wishing for more power, he hopes to be able to perform a S4 engine swap down the line. We can’t wait till the day when Trevor finishes that 3.0 Supercharged swap! It would be one epic FAST wagon!
Introduce Yourself
Hey my name is Trevor and I was born and raised here in Southern California but reside in the Inland
Empire.
WHY A WAGON?
I have always liked the practicality of the wagon. I like the fact that the car still has the practicality of a
SUV, just not the size. In 2018/2019, I started to see some modified wagons from Europe on Instagram
and it really sparked my interest on how good certain wagons looked when they were bagged. It took
me a while to find the one that had the options that I wanted with reasonable mileage and at a decent
price.
Did you consider a different WAGON instead of this one?
Honestly I was pretty dead set on getting the Audi. I had taken a look at the BMW’s and Mercedes but
the body lines of the Audi really did it for me.
What was your original objective with your car and has that objective changed?
The objective for me was to be able to have a bagged car that was still reliable and practical. I would say
that I’ve stayed pretty true to that original objective.
What style would you say best describes your car?
I would describe my car as a good example of OEM+
Who assisted in the planning/building/modding of your car?
All the work that was done to the car has been done by either me and my two brothers & a great local
shop in my area called Kormodiv.
What do you feel makes your car unique / special in your eyes?
I believe my car is unique because you just don’t see many out in the wild. If you do see a wagon, it most
likely isn’t modified like mine.
What is your favorite part/feature/function of the car?
It’s hard to choose a favorite but if I could choose I would say the OEM roof box. It definitely brings
character to the wagon
If you could pick one thing you aren’t satisfied with about your car, what would it be?
The only thing that I’m not satisfied with is the horsepower. I wish Audi offered a wagon with the 3.0T in
the states.
What has been the biggest obstacle you’ve faced while building this car?
The availability of aftermarket parts when it comes to the exterior.
What one word best describes your car?
Sleek
What is your final goal with this car?
The end goal for me would be to do a S4 swap.
