If you think we were done with the Singaporean wagon, you were wrong! We got one more eye candy for this week’s blog entry feature: Taufik’s Mazda 6 Wagon. Better known as Mazda Atenza Wagon in many parts of the world, this generation was unfortunately never offered stateside by Mazda. It is a shame because this 3rd generation of the Mazda 6 has a very sleek design.
Taufik started modifying this wagon in 2020 (around covid time). Originally white, his wagon was then repainted in beige color in order to stand out from the crowd. He mentioned that getting his air suspension dialed in was one of the biggest challenges during this build. Knowing that not everyone in Singapore was familiar with hardline, Taufik had to go to Johor Baru (Malaysia) to get his air suspension install sorted out. After that, everything was a breeze and Taufik really enjoyed driving low while being able to raise his wagon instantly to go through speed bumps. Front valence and side skirts were then sourced to achieve a more aggressive appearance. As the final piece to the puzzle, a set of SSR SP3 wheels were chosen. With a killer stance, Taufik’s Mazda 6 Wagon is definitely a head turner when roaming around the Singaporean streets. Taufik’s hard work paid off when his wagon won an award at a local car show in 2022.
We definitely can’t wait to see what Taufik has in store for his wagon in the near future!
