Just when you think that we were done with our Indonesian wagon series, we actually got one more eye candy for this week’s blog entry feature! After featuring many Mercedes Benz Estates in Indonesia, it’s time to shine a spotlight to this clean 325i E46 Touring. As this platform is reaching 25 years since its initial release, finding a clean example is getting much harder.
Ferdi, the owner of this 2003 Touring example, has sourced and put together a well thought out E46 that a lot of owners should be taking notes from. An M-Tech II front bumper, M-Tech II rear bumper, a subtle mid-wing hatch spoiler and M3 sideview mirrors found their ways to improve the Touring’s exterior appearance. The wagon was then lowered and a set of AC Schnitzer Type 3 split wheels were picked to complete the exterior. To improve the wagon’s stopping power, a set of BMW M Performance Big Brake Kit was added. I personally dig the yellow finish on the calipers! Finally, a pair of Recaro Sportster CS seats found their ways to accentuate the Touring’s interior.
This E46 Touring is one of the few wagons that Ferdi owns. Running a dealership in South Jakarta, Indonesia means Ferdi’s wagon line up is constantly changing! I hope I can feature his S202 and his S212 before they switch ownership!
